Accent Lab teaches Received Pronunciation (RP), the standard British accent. You listen to a sentence read in a native British voice, say it yourself, and the app gives you an accent score based on your pronunciation, rhythm and intonation, with notes on the exact words and sounds to fix.
It is built for English learners, professionals who work with the UK, actors preparing British roles, and anyone who loves the sound of British English.
How the feedback works
Your recording is analysed with speech recognition and AI pronunciation analysis, then compared with how the sentence is pronounced in British English. The app highlights words where your vowels, consonants or stress differ from RP and explains each fix in plain language. Read more about the sounds it listens for in how to do a British accent.
Who makes it
